A poem for Tuesday: Goodnight diabetes

Goodnight Diabetes

It’s time we go to sleep

It’s late and I’m exhausted

300

70

120 too

You behaved somewhat today

Now just make sure to do that tonight too!

I’m awfully tired

And could use some good rest

Will you sleep through the night?

Oh dear diabetes of mine,

I’ll sing you a lullaby

And sip some chamomile too

Now please shut the hell up

Or I may need to have a word with you!

Goodnight diabetes…
